Stay and Sail: Adakoy

Posted: under Dream Destinations, Holiday, Hotels, Miscellaneous.

Learning to sail doesn’t have to mean spending the entire time on a yacht. Although the concept of spending a week on a flotilla is an appealing one, it’s also great to know that you have the option to spend some of your time on dry land, and with a stay and sail vacation, you can do just that.

Combine a whole manner of options to make an ultimate retreat. From fitness holidays to a week on the ocean, the possibilities are endless, even if it is just relaxing by the pool with a cocktail and a good read.

Sailing holiday offers are available across many destinations and the Turkish resort of Adakoy is perfect if you wish to have time on the ocean and time on land. By booking a stay and sail trip, you can enjoy a week relaxing in a beach club resort before taking to the seas for a week on your own yacht. The liberation you will feel from navigating your own flotilla is amazing, and with a vacation like this, that freedom is there for your taking.

During your week on land, you can prepare yourself for the following week on the open seas. If you’re a complete beginner to sailing, you can learn to sail in four days. Alternatively, you can brush up your existent skills or just relax and enjoy the down time before the fun and adventure really begins.

Once your week on the shore is up, it’s time to hop aboard your yacht for the remainder of your time in Adakoy. Take advantage of the turquoise waters and fabulous Mediterranean climate, as you explore the rustic villages that are dotted along the coastline. Moor your yacht and step off to discover the authentic treats in store, or take a dip in the cooling sea before you embark once again.

So much to see and do, and so much adventure to be had – plan your stay and sail holiday now and get ready for a fantastic holiday both on and away from the ocean.

What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!

My husband and all other men among our group went to Las Vegas to attend a Bachelor’s party few months back. Some of them are single and some are married like my husband. They said ”What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!” and I agree with that, my husband didn’t tell much more storied what happened to them in Vegas aside from they were drunk everyday even in the morning! Aside from that, he didn’t tell me more on about the bachelor’s party and I didn’t bother to ask either. To keep the topic out of our conversation, he just told me about what are the beautiful places in Las Vegas that he wanted to visit with us (kids and me) next time. He talked about the amazing views inside the Hotels which I forgot what is the name of the places he mentioned to me but I am sure they are all awesome!

Aside from the attractions in Vegas, he also mentioned that he went to some casinos and tried his luck with the slot machine and lose some bucks so he told me to try it next time coz he thinks I am lucky in betting games. I used to play bingo  online before like the bingo at Ladbrokes and I used to win every time but I am not sure if I will be having the same luck in slot machines.

My husband said visiting Las Vegas was an awesome experience but according to him, he’s quite a bit sad coz were not there with him for three days and he missed us so much.

A Short guide to the Serenade Of The Seas

Posted: under BEACH, Dream Destinations.
Tags:

If you are looking for a ship that promises an elegant cruise around some of world’s most majestic coastlines and an atmosphere of fun, friendless and no little adventure then you could do far worse than book yourself a trip on-board the Serenade Of The Seas. The ship forms part of the Radiance Class of vessels owned by Royal Caribbean, a company famous for its extravagant array of on-board activities, entertainments and dinning options.

There are clearly a good number of ships that can rival the Serenade in terms of sheer scale and an abundance of activities but she is certainly among the most sophisticated ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet. There are some wonderful little areas where adults can get away from it all and leave their troubles behind them with a massage or a spa treatment of some kind. But there are also plenty of places and entertainment features where families can come together and enjoy their time together.

And all this of course takes place typically under clear blue skies so you’ll have every opportunity to touch up on your tan if you are so inclined and you will always be moving steadily from one quite gorgeous coastline to another. The Serenade can in many ways offer a quintessential cruise holiday experience and it serves as a good example of what Royal Caribbean cruises are all about, which is, in a word, choice.

The really good news though is that the prices on even some of Royal Caribbean’s most popular cruise holidays are not nearly as high as you might imagine. The competitive nature of the cruise industry means that prices are kept within reach of even families, individuals and groups of friends who are feeling the squeeze on their holiday budgets. And if you book last minute or on an all inclusive basis you can save yourself even more money.

Make your gift match the occasion

Posted: under Holiday, Miscellaneous, Our Travels.

Whenever you decide to buy a gift for a friend, relative or loved one, you’ll want to make sure that it’s appropriate. When looking for the perfect present from retailers like Interflora gifts for her should be suited to the special occasion. Buying something that she won’t like might not go down too well, no matter how much thought you’ve put into choosing that particular gift. While they might go on to recognise that you’ve tried your best when picking her present, there are a few things you can do to avoid falling into that trap.

The first thing you should be is aware of your loved one’s interests. This will give you a good idea of what exact present you’ll need to get in order to bring a smile to her face. A range of birthday, Christmas and thank you gifts from Interflora means that you’re faced with quite a choice, but it’s important to choose something they’ll like.

For example, when you’re looking for a Christmas or birthday gift, you’ll want something that lasts. Buying something disposable such as a box of chocolates or a few bottles of wine might seem like a grand gesture, but you might be better off giving her something that will work for a long time. Ideal Christmas and birthday gifts could include a new dress, an eReader such as a Kindle or perhaps a few books.

The same rule applies when you’re looking for anniversary gifts at interflora and other retailers: you’ll want the gift to be special. As for other occasions such as getting a new job, retirement and becoming pregnant, the present in question shouldn’t be too grand, as you don’t want to be seen as overdoing it. Something like flowers, a necklace or even a bottle of perfume is the most appropriate you can buy.

It’s very very hot right now in Bentonville, I was out for a few minutes awhile ago and I can’t take the heat to think it’s only 98 degrees compare to the last couple of days that were over 100 degrees! This kind of weather makes me feel like wanna go back to Beaver Lake.

My family went to Beaver Lake 2 weeks ago and it’s so beautiful! My kids went swimming but my husband and I were not able to coz we’re not prepared for that. Honestly, I didn’t know we can swim in that coz I thought it was just a park where we can eat and play volleyball and that’s it. Good thing my daughter insisted to bring her swim suit coz she’s planning on going to any swimming pool nearby the area.

I love the area so much and I was so frustrated I wasn’t able to swim in that clean cold water that’s why I am planning to go back before summer ends.

Here’s some of the photos of the beaver lake…
